ABOUT SACRED VIRTUES

Sacred Virtues was founded in 2003, by Tawanna P. Brooks as an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between girls and women. The purpose of the organization at that time was to help the girls in her community develop a healthy self-esteem, something she felt that she lacked as a teenager. Sacred Virtues has grown from helping girls in one small community to helping young women all over the country. A healthy self esteem is a major component in a person achieving true inner happiness.

Sacred Virtues is dedicated to exposing young women to a positive way of thinking and assisting them in retraining the way they view themselves through books, conferences, documentaries, and other interactive programs.

Sacred Virtues is committed to making sure young women have the financial resources and the self-determination to attend college if they desire. Most importantly, they are passionate about encouraging, motivating, and inspiring girls and women to find the true source of their power and to develop a self-security that will ensure that they never feel anything less than great.
